since I photographed such a cooperative little newborn! Bradyn is such a content and happy baby. He stayed sleepy for the entire session - and I only saw his eyes one time. And, get this - he didn't "go" on my backdrops--now, that's a rarity! I really enjoyed this session....Bradyn is such a beautiful boy - with the cutest chubs and cheeks!

Our little model wanted nothing to do with sleep during our session! He was asleep for about 10 minutes...and then he was bright eyed and ready to take on the world---err, camera that is. Here are some sweet sleepy moments to begin our session...

This one has got to be one of my all time favorites.ever! Those little fists are too much - love it!

This was such an enjoyable session. Lots of laughing and sharing newborn stories with mommy! As a newborn, my own son was very similar to this sweet little boy...so mommy and I found that we had lots in common. [Mommy - it's all about the big yoga ball and baby sling..oh, and the angelcare monitor!]

...and what a cute little bun he is! I knew he was going to be adorable, but wow, I was really stunned. Not only was he just lovely, he was easy to pose - which is so clear from these images...I loove dangly feet!

Sometimes newborns get tired of their cribs - why shouldn't they have their own mini beds?

This one is a favorite of mine - he looks so sweet and as happy as can be.

Just look at these baby toes! So chubby and plump :)

I must end this post with a basket shot that really, really made my day! These types of poses can be real tricky to nail - but I think that because my son was a super light sleeper as a newborn, I'm pretty used to moving babies gently. Of course, little M helped me by being sleepy, too!

what's a mini session? typically, my regular sessions include multiple backdrop studio set-ups as well as natural light shots, include multiple poses and outfit changes - and last 1-3 hours.

mini sessions, on the other hand, are no more than one hour in length. includes one color backdrop studio set-up (no multiple backdrops/natural light candids/outfit changes). don't worry, a hi-res CD of all images is still included!

mini sessions are available during the months of october and november (just for the holidays). i only offer a limited number of mini sessions, so please contact me asap, as these slots book quickly.

these sessions are typically booked for halloween costume sessions and holiday family photos.

random thought....some days, i really miss being pregnant. just knowing that there was a life. a soul. a miracle....safe and snuggly in my belly - protected from the outside world - was the best feeling. it's such a beautiful experience. i now understand what a mother's love is. it's like sipping a cup of hot cocoa on a cold day (to the millionth power)....making you feel all warm and fuzzy....i never thought i could love another little person so much. sigh. and all this, inspired by my client's oh.so.beautiful baby bump...isn't she just looovely? booo-hooo, i so miss being preggo right now!

dear mommy, like i said from the start - i really don't like these pesky diapers! they are confining & itchy. i'm relieved that i've finally figured out how to unfasten the velcro tabs with my nimble little fingers. as soon as i figure out how to unfasten the right side, i'll be diaper-less in no time! yay for pee on my crib sheets. love, your adoring son.

yes, yes, those were so pretty and delicate - but have no fear - we had some major pops of color, too! everyone knows i looove color...so when vanessa came with bold prints, i was giddy!
